I assume all of you are a student or a faculty at Sacramento State University. I'm a Hornet Shuttle Driver and a student at Sac State. I got the Shuttle job in the summer of 2018 and only worked for 1 semester so far. However, I've learned a lot for just one semester.
The first 2 months of the semester was confusing for students since they didn't know how to use the bus and how it worked. So I'm here to clarify that and hopefully help those who use the Hornet Shuttle frequently..
How many Hornet Shuttles are running on campus? There are only 4 hornet shuttles running on campus: Hornet Line, Stinger Line, Green Line, and Gold Line.. How Do I know which Shuttle is which? The Shuttles have a destination sign on the side (Some are broken on some Shuttles) and in front of them.Hornet Line says either '65th Street', 'Folsom Hall', 'Hornt Line' or 'The Well' on the destination sign.
(Something Like that)Stinger Line says either 'Sac State' or 'Sacramento State'.Green Line says 'Green Line'.Gold Line says 'Gold Line'.They may not be the exact wording since I can't really remember but it is close.. How long does the Hornet Shuttle run up to?They are ONLY running in the Fall and Spring Semester beginning from the first day of the semester til the last day of Finals. If you want to know the times they are running, it should be on the Sac State Shuttle Website. Please take a look at the times carefully because some of the shuttles end earlier than others; and some of the shuttles ends, then continues again later..
Who can use the Hornet Shuttle?Only Sac State Students and Faculties with a OneCard can use the Shuttle. I've had students from the Los Rios Community College show me their Los Rios ID which is not a OneCard.
